Dale LangleyDale Langley - Principal & Founder

Dale spent the first twelve years of his career specialising in employment within two top City firms - Stephenson Harwood (corporate dept) and Ashurst, (litigation) where he established their Employment Law Groups. He then identified a need for a niche practice providing professional and competitively priced service within the City to employees in financial markets and nationally to senior executives and directors. Consequently, his new firm, then called Langley and Co was established in 1993, and Dale Langley and Co evolved out of that in 2000. Dale represents both individual and corporate clients, including senior city figures and executives, and has strong experience in both employment and corporate law. He is a member of the Employment Lawyers Association. He is described in Chambers Directory independent research as "a recognised leader in the field of employment law”

Michael ScuttMichael Scutt - Partner

He was formerly a member of APIL (the Association of Personal Injury Lawyers) and Secretary of the Damages Special Interest Group; Michael has acted for claimants in high value PI claims and notably for employees suffering from work related upper limb disorders (more commonly known as "RSI") and in stress at work claims. He joined the firm as a Partner in 2002 to develop this practice because of the increasingly large overlap with employment law. Michael is an expert at understanding the interplay between the two areas. Michael also acts for clients in resolution of commercial disputes and for both employers and employees in employment disputes, drafting and advising on contracts of employment and compromise agreements and in all areas of employment law.
