- Your Passport
- Proof of Address - i.e. a recent Utility Bill or Driving Licence
- All relevant papers - including employment contract/policy documents.
HOW WE CHARGE
We don't conduct free consultations, or work on a no win no fee basis - but we do have very competitive rates, and our charging structure is clearly set out and agreed with you from the beginning.
We charge on an hourly basis, and the rate depends on the level of the solicitor assigned. Our rates are exclusive of VAT, where applicable.
At our first meeting we discuss likely costs involved and set parameters with you. We follow that up with a letter setting out what we've agreed- so we're both clear on costs.
How you can keep Costs Down
Your fees may be covered under an insurance policy such as a home contents policy. Almost all insurers are happy to work with us, and our firm is familiar to most of the leading legal insurers.
Before meeting with us prepare and order relevant papers and provide a chronology of events or summary of the issues for easy reference
Prepare initial drafts of documents and letters and we'll fine tune and tweak appropriately.
